September sees the return of Cask Ale Week, but why should pubs get involved in the annual event? Sara Hussein reports The listing of pubs as assets of community value (ACVs) has caused controversy in the trade. The latest figures from the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) show 1,500 pubs across the country now have the status. But what can you do if your pub is listed as an ACV against your better judgment?
